SkillKin helps one Guide privately pass a practical skill to one invited Learner. It has no public feed, searchable profile, follower graph, targeted advertising, or data brokerage.
Information SkillKin processes
SkillKin may process a pseudonymous app account, handoff text, invitation membership, demonstration and attempt videos, feedback, completion status, and the purchase information needed to provide SkillKin Plus. The validation release does not ask for your name, address book, precise location, or advertising identifier.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate the app privately, deliver a handoff to its Guide and invited Learner, store and play selected videos, collect feedback, maintain completion status, operate purchases, prevent abuse, provide support, and improve reliability. SkillKin does not sell personal information, use targeted advertising, or train a public generative-AI model on handoff content.
Service providers
Supabase provides authentication, database services, private object storage, and protected server functions in Mumbai, India. RevenueCat processes product, purchase, and entitlement status. Google Play processes Android distribution and payments under the user’s Google account and Google’s own terms and privacy policy.
Sharing and permission
A private handoff is readable only by its Guide and the one Learner who accepts its secret invitation. Users must obtain permission from every person shown or heard in uploaded media and must have the right to share any cultural knowledge, performance, voice, likeness, or copyrighted material included in a handoff.
Retention and deletion
Handoff content is retained while the private account and handoff remain active. Settings & privacy can permanently delete the current account and cloud data. Guide deletion removes authored handoffs and media. Learner deletion removes the attempt and membership and rotates the Guide’s invitation. Provider backups and legally required purchase, security, tax, or fraud-prevention records may persist for a limited period.
Security
SkillKin uses an encrypted native session, private object storage, signed media URLs, membership-based Row Level Security, restricted database functions, and authenticated account deletion. Keep invitation links private and report suspected access to dev@pinegrass.in.
Children and international processing
The validation release is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Service providers may process operational or purchase information in countries other than the user’s country using their contractual or legal safeguards.
